Megalyn Echikunwoke joins CSI Miami as a regular cast member

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Horatio Caine’s team just got bigger with the addition of Megalyn Echikunwoke (how is that for a mouthful!) as medical examiner Dr. Tara Price. Megalyn was previously cast just as a recurring character, but she has just been named as a series regular.

Waiting for your dose of CSI Miami? Only a few weeks left to wait, as the show premieres it’s seventh season on September 22 at 10pm, on CBS.

More scoop on Elizabeth Berkley’s character on CSI: Miami

Friday, December 28th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

elizabethberkley.jpg

We have some exclusive CSI Miami scoop about Elizabeth Berkley’s character!

We finally get to see Horatio’s ex on CSI: Miami… and word on the street is that it is his ex-wife not just his ex-girlfriend! Her name is Julia Winston, and she was married to a billionaire but recently widowed (how convenient). She arrives in Miami and wants Kyle back. She was a military nurse who had a fling with an undercover working Horatio, but she left before she told him she was pregnant with Kyle. But turns out they must have gotten married somewhere along the way, but I am guessing married under his undercover name and not as Horatio Caine.

It is also worth noting that this is the last episode that was written before the writer’s strike, so we won’t have any new CSI Miami for quite some time, and there is more to the Julia/Horatio/Kyle story than just this one episode. Elizabeth Berkley has recurring status on the show.

The episode airs Monday January 14th (yes, it got bumped back a week since this is the last new episode they have) and is called Raising Caine.

Elizabeth Berkley heats up CSI Miami as Horatio’s ex

Saturday, December 1st, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicastnew.jpg

I so love CSI Miami… but why do they cast such unbelievable actresses as Horatio’s hookups? I can sort see him with his ex-sister-in-law, but please, first it was Delko’s hottie sister, and now it is Showgirls actress Elizabeth Berkley. She is playing Julia Winston, Horatio’s ex (some say ex, some say ex-wife) the mother of his recently discovered son. She is going to get wrapped up in a murder investigation when her husband is murdered.

Elizabeth also appeared in a CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode “Lady Heather’s Box”, albiet a bit part… let’s just say it inadvertantly involved her stiletto in a poor guy’s neck at a party.

Tim Speedle returns to CSI Miami October 15th

Monday, October 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

speed2.jpg

We have all been waiting for Rory Cochrane, who played Tim Speedle, to return to CSI Miami. Now, rumor had it that he was coming back as a figment of brain injured Delko’s imagination. But now the episode description for “Bang, Bang, Your Debt” sounds more like maybe he really is alive.

A college student is killed in a car fire. As the CSIs investigate the mysterious death, they find evidence that Tim Speedle may still be alive.

Now, check out the rest of the pics from the episode!

None of the photos CBS released show Speed with anyone other than Delko, although that could have been deliberate. But the look on Speed’s face in the last two episodes just makes me think he really is dead… although I hope he’s not.

So whatcha think?

Two new videos for the season premiere of CSI Miami

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

This seems to be the first few minutes of the season premiere.

And next, the scene between Horatio and his son.

Am I the only one who found that music particularly haunting in the opening of the episode? And don’t forget we have the full scoop on Tim Speedle’s return! And don’t forget this episode airs tonight at 10pm!

And kudos for CBS adding those videos to YouTube!

Scoop on Speed’s return to CSI Miami

Monday, September 24th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Sourcecsimiamispeed.jpg

Ever since I heard Rory Cochrane would be returning as Tim Speedle, AKA Speed, we have all been wondering exactly how it would work. Well, now we know! Eric Delko will be the one seeing Speed, and Speed will be a ghost. I am pretty sad to hear that it will only be for two episodes though, I was kind of hoping he was going to be a series regular and they were going to somehow come up with something creative to explain his “death”. But I’ll take what I can get!

Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez) is going to see dead people — or at least a dead person. As a result of his post-traumatic stress disorder, the CSI: Miami agent will see the ghost of his fallen colleague Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane), which will, for obvious reasons, send him into a downward spiral. “Delko is doing a good job at masking his trauma,” Rodriguez told TV Guide at the CBS Monday Night Season Premiere party Sept. 19. “But I think [a meltdown] is definitely a possibility.”

And while seeing the ghost is bad for Delko, Cochrane’s return is great for the cast. “I’m happy to have my buddy back,” says Rodriguez, who admitted last July that he was disappointed when Cochrane abruptly quit in 2004. “It wasn’t the world he wanted to live in. He walked away to make himself happy.”

Unfortunately Cochrane’s return is short-lived — he’ll only be on for two episodes. “I feel like he deserves to be here,” says Emily Procter, who plays Calleigh Duquesne. “I wish he hadn’t been killed. Maybe just have gone to prison.”

Don’t forget the show premieres tonight! Source

Monday, September 10th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicastnew.jpg

Fans can be sure that IAB Sergeant Rick Stetler, played by David Lee Smith, will be stirring up trouble of Horatio and his team when his recurring character makes a return appearance on CSI Miami this season. He will appear in the third episode of the season, Cyber-Lebrity.

CSI Miami Season Six video spoilers showing Horatio’s son

Thursday, September 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We finally get to see Horatio’s son in this very spoilery video!

They definitely picked out an actor who totally could be his son, I am quite pleased with their choice. I was expecting him to be a bit younger though, more Ray Jr’s age, but I guess looks can be deceiving. What do you all think? Only a couple more weeks until the episode airs!

More scoop on Horatio’s son on CSI Miami

Thursday, September 6th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicastnew.jpg

So we know Horatio will be getting a son this season… but apparently it will be Yelena who will make the connection after the supposed son is a suspect in a murder case… yep, Horatio’s teenage son is a teenage delinquent, oh the irony.

We will keep you posted as we learn more, good news is that it looks like Sofia Milos will be back this season, even if for only a limited number of episodes.

Jessica Szohr joining CSI Miami as regular

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicastnew.jpg

Suffering from withdrawl over What About Brian not being picked up for this season? Well, you will get to see Laura in a new role this season. Jessica Szohr has joined CSI Miami as a new A.V. Tech Specialist named Samantha Barrish. Not sure if the male hottie (in that geeky sort of way) will also be back in his recurring role as the A.V. Tech. We’ll keep you posted!

CSI Miami casting bald Britney Spears lookalike

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ah, to be a celebrity who is so famous (or is that infamous!) she is having her clone has in an episode of CSI Miami.

A character inspired by the recently shorn pop star will appear in an upcoming episode of CSI:Miami about an actor who’s killed during a stay in rehab, CBS confirmed to E! News Tuesday, calling Spears’ influence “a small part of the episode.”

It won’t be the Spears character getting the postmortem workup, but while at the facility to investigate the victim’s death, the David Caruso-led forensics team comes across a starlet who has shaved her head.

Of course, I thought it would have been fun if Britney Spears offered to play herself in rehab! Could kick off her acting career again since she seems to be all over the place with what she wants to do at the moment.

Horatio’s plane crashes in CSI Miami season finale

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiami2.jpg
We have some season finale spoilers!

When Horatio (David Caruso) captures a suspected criminal and must fly him to a different jurisdiction to stand trial, their plane inexplicably loses control and crashes in the Everglades.

We have seen numerous plane crashes on CSI Miami, but never with any of the main characters directly involved… until now. I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I am curious there is no mention about the employee who gets canned… but maybe it will be in an episode before the finale.

Scoop on who’s getting fired on CSI Miami

Friday, March 30th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ausiello spilled the beans last week that someone on CSI Miami is getting canned from his/her job. And now he reveals that the person being fired is a he. But which he is it?

We do know this:

Question: Care to be a little more specific on any of the CSI: Miami spoilers you’ve reported? Ya know, like a hint about who gets fired?— Jackie
Ausiello: This person is a man, and before he has time to head down to the unemployment office, a local TV station hires him as its forensics expert.

So with it being a man, we know Caine would never go and work for a local television station, so I don’t think it is him. Which leaves us Ryan & Delko. Well, Delko has been having problems since he was shot (however to be fair, Ryan had problems after he got nail gunned and while 4 or 5 episodes after than made reference to his injury, nothing came of it in the end). But Ryan is the one with connections (and flirtations!) to the hottie news anchor at a local TV station, which I would be willing to bet just happens to be the same station as hottie.

However, I have also been tipped that it is going to be Ryan who is fired, but Horatio gets him back on the team by the end of the episode… but with it potentially being the season finale, my gut says that he won’t be rehired but will at the beginning of next season.

Any other thoughts or spoilers?

Crossing Jordan’s Leslie Bibb to guest star on CSI: Miami

Monday, March 12th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Leslie Bibb’s character Lu was recently killed on Crossing Jordan last month, but the actress will be turning up next month on an episode of CSI: Miami, where she will have a multiple role playing three women.

After a wealthy businessman is killed at a charity event the CSI’s first suspect his wife who was hosting the event. The blood evidence is thought to belong to the wife or her two secret twin sisters but leads the investigators in another direction after the victim is not who they thought he was.

She plays Ashley Whitford, Cayla Selby and Beth Selby in the episode.

I am happy to see Leslie back after she written out of Crossing Jordan. And I am happy it is CSI: Miami, another of my favorite shows.

This episode, titled Triple Threat, is currently scheduled to air on March 19, 2007 at 10pm on CBS.

Eric Delko gets shot on CSI Miami during February sweeps

Saturday, February 3rd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicast.jpg

After a ton of speculation, Ausiello has confirmed that the regular cast member that will be shot during February sweeps is Eric Delko. And Clavo Cruz (as we previously reported was returning to the show) is involved.

The two episodes, No Man’s Land and Man Down air on Monday February 5th and 12th as a two part episode.

The first episode:

A truck carrying hundreds of confiscated weapons on their way to be incinerated is sabotaged and Horatio learns that Clavo Cruz, a killer he put away years ago, is behind it. Although Cruz is still behind bars, Horatio fears he may be planning an escape. The situation worsens when an 11-year-old boy is gunned down with one of the weapons taken from the truck.

And the second:

Horatio and Delko are ambushed while searching for a kidnapped court stenographer in a parking garage, and a CSI is seriously wounded. The woman was abducted by Clavo Cruz, who escaped from prison. The investigation reveals Cruz may be involved with selling illegal African diamonds.

Nick dies on CSI Miami and Natalia is arrested for murder

Friday, December 22nd, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

csimiamicast.jpg

I actually quite enjoyed the character of Nick Townsend, Natalia’s ex-husband played by Rob Estes. But now he’s going to be murdered, and Natalia will be arrested for murder. The episode is “Internal Affairs” and is the first episode for CSI Miami after the holiday break, airing on January 8th.

From the episode description:
Nick is murdered in his condo and Natalia is arrested for the crime when evidence at the scene suggests she killed him, but Horatio tries to clear her name. The evidence also reveals that Delko and Nick fought earlier in the day. In another case, a wealthy single man is found dead in his mansion with a granite-topped bookshelf on top of him. The investigation reveals the victim was seeing a therapist who suddenly dropped him as a patient.”

While I admit I am definitely disappointed to see Rob Estes leave, I think this will make a great storyline, especially since it seems that Eric gets caught up into the mess as well. Even in death, Nick is causing problems for the CSIs!

Clavo Cruz returns to CSI Miami in 2007 for two part episode

Monday, December 18th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Last we saw of Clavo Cruz, his father (who it turns out was not really his father) refused to allow Clavo to be protected under diplomatic immunity. But Clavo Cruz will make appearances in two upcoming CSI Miami episodes, meaning either he gets off, he breaks out, or some other interesting twist.

Clavo Cruz (Gonzalo Menendez) will appear in a two part episode, - No Man’s Land: Part 1 and No Man’s Land: Part 2. It doesn’t appear that his brother Ramon will be back though.

The first episode is set to air February 5th, 2006, with the second part airing the following week.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. And you have to wonder if this is the nemisis that will be breaking out of prison to terrorize Horatio’s team of CSIs.

Spoilers on who is getting shot on CSI Miami for February sweeps

Wednesday, December 13th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

So we know that one of the CSIs on CSI Miami is getting shot in the upcoming episode “Man Down”. And rumors have been running rampant that last few days that it was going to be Delko that gets shot in the head (citing a few scenes of a “leaked” script). But in today’s Ausiello Report, Michael’s spoiler seems to contradict that it could only be Delko as the possible one who is the one getting shot.

Question: Don’t forget about CSI: Miami!— Fany

Ausiello: Never, especially since there’s a life at stake. My CSI spy just tipped me off that a major character will get shot during February sweeps. As in critically shot. Very critically. (Hint: This person was featured on the cover of TV Guide in the past year.)

Both Emily Procter (Calleigh) and David Caruso (Horatio Caine) have been though. David appeared on May 15, 2006, while Emily appeared July 17, 2006. Alex Rodriguez, who plays Eric Delko, was apparently featured on a hot men of CSI themed cover.

Calleigh was supposed to get a major storyline (and a boyfriend!) this year, so it would make sense if she was the shooting victim this time around. But if Horatio is shot, it would sure provide the drama.

So could the producers at CSI Miami be trying to pull a foiler on fans with the leaked script and the Ausiello tips to keep us guessing just who will be shot?

CSI Miami fan Ronny Wood offered cameo on series

Sunday, December 10th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

When Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood had his art exhibit in Hollywood (and I am sure I am not the only one who was unaware that Wood had talent as an artist too!) CSI Miami castmates Emily Proctor and Adam Rodriguez bought some of his paintings. When they discovered Wood was a fan of the show, they invited him for a visit to the set of the hit show. And now that visit has turned into a cameo for Wood.

No word as of yet on whether he will be playing himself or someone else, or when the cameo will air. It will be great to see how this turns out!
